THE CONCEPT OF TIME IN OUR SOCIETY
Have you ever sat to think why it's mandated for every home to have a clock? A clock is on every wall that is life breathing. Society has made it the centre of our being. You're told what to do and what not to do by the society. The issue is who is the society to tell you what's right or wrong.
You have being loved, cared for, appraised, motivated, tolerated, nurtured with virtues and values, raises or brought up by the society.
You have also being disliked, judged, misunderstood, demoralized, broken, threatened by this same society.
One may ask, "who are the society?" They are the people who in a way made the clock the centre of our existence. Tell you when to get married as a girl. Tell a guy that he needs to be made before 30 years of age, forgetting to acknowledge his struggles and hustles. In a way made formal education a necessity irrespective of individual interests, termed success to the number of assets owned, forgetting that happiness, love and peace are also part of achievements. Made friends turn on each other in other to meet up with its standard. This same society exhibit vices amidst the virtues it claims to have.
Everyone is uniquely different. What worked for me might not work for you. Live your life to the fullest irrespective of how you're being pressured. Make sure you are fulfilled and happy with whatever it is you're doing because your dreams are the definition of you.
